Medu vada and sabudana vada duo, crispy and flavorful—designed to cook together in the Ninja Dual Zone Air Fryer for an easy snack combo.
Ingredients
Medu Vada

Medu vada batter (ready-to-use / in-house fermented) – 200–220 g

oil - 20ml
Sabudana Vada

Soaked sabudana – 70 g
-
Boiled potatoes – 160–170 g
-
Roasted peanuts (crushed) – 25–30 g
-
Cumin seeds – 1 g
-
Green chillies – 2–3 g
-
Ginger (grated) – 2 g
-
Coriander leaves – 3–4 g
-
Sugar – 2 g
-
Salt – to taste

Oil – 20 ml
Directions
Medu Vada
Preheat the air fryer if required.
Mix oil in your batter & lightly grease your hands and shape the batter into vada (donut shape).
Place the shaped vadas on a greased air fryer basket.
Lightly brush or spray oil on top.
select AIR FRY mode, set tmperature to 180°C and time to 15 minutes. Press START/STOP.
Flip halfway for even cooking (optional but recommended).
Cook until golden and crisp.
Serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
Sabudana Vada
Ensure sabudana is soaked overnight and completely drained.
In a bowl, combine sabudana, mashed potatoes, crushed peanuts, cumin seeds, green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves, oil, sugar, and salt.
Mix well to form a soft dough-like mixture.
Divide into portions and shape into flat vadas.
Lightly grease the basket and arrange the vadas.
Brush or drizzle oil on top.
select AIR FRY mode, set temperature to 180°C and time to 20 minutes. Press START/STOP.
Flip halfway for even crisping.
Cook until golden and crisp.
Serve hot with green chutney.

Ensure sabudana is well-drained to avoid soggy mixture.
