Warm weather, sunny skies, and spending time with friends are a few reasons I love summer months, but perhaps my favorite thing about summer is that it is the peak season for so many fruits and berries. Growing up, I loved going berry picking, snacking on juicy strawberries as we filled our baskets. I remember coming home covered in the sticky sweet juice, smiling from ear to ear. In this Summer Strawberry Smoothie, I brought together all of my favorite summer flavors for a bright, refreshing breakfast (or afternoon) treat.
Ingredients
- cup frozen mango chunks
- 1 cup orange juice
- cups fresh strawberries
- Juice of 1 lemon

Directions
- Place the mango, strawberries, orange juice, and lemon juice into the blender pitcher in the order listed.
- Select SMOOTHIE.
- Pour into two glasses, and enjoy.
Recipe Note
VARIATION TIP:
This recipe was developed for when fresh strawberries are at their peak, but if you don't have fresh strawberries, don't fret!
You can swap fresh for frozen and it will be equally delicious! If you want an extra creamy smoothie, add a banana or 0 cup plain Greek yogurt.
