Crispy, spiral samosa pinwheels filled with spiced potato mixture, perfect as a tea-time snack.
Ingredients
For dough

Refined flour 125 g

Salt 2-3 g
-
Sugar 1 g
-
Oil 30-40 g

Water 40 g
For filling
-
Potatoes 375-400 g
-
Green chillies 4-6 g (finely chopped)

Ginger 4-5 g (finely chopped)
-
Coriander leaves 5-8 g (finely chopped)

Prepared masala 8-9 g

Ghee 2-3 g

Salt to taste

Fennel powder 2 g
-
Cumin powder 2 g
-
Coriander powder 2 g

Black pepper powder 1 g
Directions
In a bowl, mix refined flour, salt, sugar and oil. Add water and knead into a stiff dough. Rest for 10-15 minutes.
Boil and mash the potatoes. Mix green chillies, ginger, mashed potatoes, prepared masala, fennel powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, black pepper and salt.
Add chopped coriander leaves and let the filling cool.
Roll the dough into a thin round sheet. Spread a thin layer of stuffing evenly. Roll tightly into a log and cut into equal discs.
Lightly flatten each piece to form pinwheels. Take a combi pan, put crisper plate on it & now put pinwheel over it (dont overlayer it).
Move the SmartSwitch to AIR FRYER mode and select AIR FRY. Set temperature to 180*C and time to 15 minutes (flip in between by using tong).
Press START/STOP and cook until golden and crisp. Serve hot.
Recipe Note
Roll tightly for perfect spiral layers; adjust spices as per taste.
