Crispy deep-fried savory bites made from spiced flour dough.
Maida (all-purpose flour) 125 g
Water (for kneading) 55–65 g
Salt to taste
Ajwain (carom seeds) 0.5 g
Ghee or oil (for moyan) 40 g
In a bowl, mix flour, salt, ajwain, and ghee/oil.
Add water in batches and knead into a stiff dough. Rest for 10 minutes.
Roll dough and cut into strips or diamond shape.
Place pieces in the air fryer basket.
Air fry at 180°C for 8 minutes, flip in between.
Cook until golden and crisp.
