Golden puff pastry stuffed with seasoned boiled eggs for a rich and savory snack.
Ingredients
For veggies base
-
10ml oil
-
7.5g ginger-garlic paste
-
1–2 green chillies, finely chopped
-
40–50g medium onion, finely chopped
-
40–50g large tomato, finely chopped
-
¼ tsp cumin seeds
-
¼ tsp deggi/red chilli powder
-
¼ tsp fennel seeds
-
¼ tsp garam masala
-
Salt to taste
For egg puff patties
-
6 pc boiled egg, cut into halves
-
Puff pastry sheet- 6 pc
Directions
To cook veggies base
Prepare veggies as per mentioned next to it.
Take combi pan, slide into Level 1. Move SmartSwitch into air fryer mode, select sear/sauté function at HI 5. Press start.
Pour oil into combi pan & add chopped veggies (onion, tomato & green chillies). Sauté it for 5 minutes. Now, add all ingredients apart from chicken. Cook it for more 5minutes.
To assemble egg puff patties
Thaw the puff pastry sheets until soft but still chilled.
Lightly dust the surface with flour and roll out slightly if needed. Cut the pastry into equal rectangles or squares.
Place the prepared veggies base & half of boiled egg in the center of one piece.
Apply a little water or egg wash along the edges. Cover with another pastry sheet (or fold over) and press edges to seal. Crimp the edges with a fork for a neat finish.
Brush the top with egg/milk wash for a golden crust (optional- Make small slits on top to allow steam to escape). Put this on baking/butter paper separately.
To bake egg puff patties
Take bake tray assemble patties on it by creating space in between.
Select bake. set temperature to 180° C for 20 minutes. Press start to begin the preheat (the unit will preheat for3-5minutes before cooking).
When preheat is complete, open door and slide pan into Level 1. Close the door to start cooking.
Once cooking done pull out the pan (if you think you want more brown color on patties cook it for more 3-5minutes on same time-temperature).
