- 1/4 cup finely chopped pistachios
- 2 teaspoons very cold unsalted butter, grated
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom (optional)
- 6 frozen phyllo shells (from a 1.9-ounce package), thawed
- Honey Syrup
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

Directions
- Walnut Baklava Bites
- In a small bowl, combine the walnuts, butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Spoon the filling into the phyllo shells.
- Pistachio Baklava Bites
- In a small bowl, combine the pistachios, butter, sugar, and cardamom (if using). Spoon the filling into the phyllo shells.
- Baklava Bites
- Install a crisper plate in each of the two baskets. Place the walnut baklava bites in the Zone 1 basket and insert the basket in the unit. Place the pistachio baklava bites in the Zone 2 basket and insert the basket in the unit.
- Select Zone 1, select BAKE, set the temperature to 165 °C, and set the timer to 10 minutes. Press MATCH COOK to match Zone 2 settings to Zone 1.
- Press START/PAUSE to begin cooking.
- When cooking is complete, the shells will be golden brown and crisp.
- Honey Syrup
- In a small bowl, whisk together the hot water, honey, and lemon juice. Dividing evenly, pour the syrup over the baklava bites (you may hear a crackling sound).
- Let cool completely before serving, about 1 hour.
