A beer hall in Boston known for its giant soft pretzels and dipping sauces has an IPA Cheese Dip on the menu. This Beer and Cheese Dip was inspired by that. Now, I'm not a big soft pretzel fan the way my husband is, but I am a huge cheese fan and I will eat just about anything slathered in this Beer and Cheese Dip. Try serving it with crusty bread, carrot sticks, sliced peppers, and, of course, a giant soft pretzel.

- 1 (8-ounce) package shredded cheddar cheese
