Ingredients

½ pounds sweet potato, peeled and diced into ½ inch pieces

1 tbsp minced garlic

1 tsp kosher salt plus more, as desired

Ground black pepper, as desired

2 tbsp canola oil

1 tbsp dried sage

1 pound uncoooked mild ground breakfast sausage

½ large onion, peeled and diced

½ tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp chili powder

4 large eggs, poached or fried (optional)

Directions
Toss the sweet potatoes with the garlic, salt, pepper, and canola oil in a mixing bowl.
Install the crisper plate in the zone 1 drawer, fill it with the sweet potato mixture, and insert the drawer in the unit.
Place the ground sausage in the zone 2 drawer (without the crisper plate) and place it in the unit.
Select zone 1, then ROAST, then set the temperature to 200 degrees C with a 30-minute timer.
Select zone 2, then ROAST, then set the temperature to 200 degrees C with a 20-minute timer. SYNC is the option to choose. To begin cooking, press the START/STOP button.
When the zone 1 and zone 2 times have reached to minutes, press START/STOP and remove the drawers from the unit. Shake each for 10 seconds.
Half of the sage should be added to the zone 1 drawer.
Add the onion to the zone 2 drawer and mix to incorporate. To continue cooking, press START/STOP and reinsert the drawers.
Remove both drawers from the unit once the cooking is finished and add the potatoes to the sausage mixture. Mix in the cinnamon, sage, chili powder, and salt until thoroughly combined.
When the hash is done, stir it and serve it right away with a poached or fried egg on top, if desired.
