Ingredients
- Meat
- 2 teaspoon soy sauce
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon coarse or flaky salt
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 680 g top rump steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- Cooking spray
- Salad
- 1 head butterhead lettuce, leaves separated and torn into large pieces
- 60 ml fresh mint leaves
- 120 ml halved baby plum tomatoes
- 1/2 red onion, halved and thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse or flaky salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Serving
- Lime wedges, for garnish
- Coarse salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

Directions
- Meat
- Combine the ingredients for the meat, except for the steak, in a large bowl. Stir to mix well.
- Dunk the steak cubes in the bowl and press to coat. Wrap the bowl in plastic and marinate under room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 232°C. Spritz the two air fryer drawers with cooking spray.
- Discard the marinade and transfer the steak cubes in the two preheated air fryer drawers.
- Air fry for 4 minutes or until the steak cubes are lightly browned but still have a little pink. Shake the drawers halfway through the cooking time.
- Salad
- Meanwhile, combine the ingredients for the salad in a separate large bowl. Toss to mix well.
- Pour the salad in a large serving bowl and top with the steak cubes. Squeeze the lime wedges over and sprinkle with salt and black pepper before serving.
